A Holiday Customer Appreciation Post For Mitel’s Liz Pedro

The holidays are a time to give and receive not only gifts but also gratitude. Many of Influitive’s advocates do this on a daily basis, but there is one special individual who deserves a few more thank yous than most.

This season, we wanted to feature this one advocate who has shown a tremendous amount of generosity and efforts to not only help Influitive but a specific community cause that is near and dear to her heart.

This advocate is Liz Pedro, Director of Customer Success Marketing at Mitel. Since joining the roster as an Influitive customer this summer, Liz has continually amazed us with the sheer volume of advocacy she’s done on our behalf in an incredibly short period of time. She has:

  • connected with numerous potential customers for reference calls and chats about her experience with Influitive.
  • submitted dozens upon dozens of referral leads that have converted into high-quality, ecstatic prospects who want to replicate Liz’s success at their own companies
  • hosted user groups, each with over 50 people, to teach her peers about advocate marketing and using Influitive to scale their customer engagement and advocacy efforts.

As you can see, Liz has done a lot to help us grow as a company this year. As we do for all of our amazing customers, we continue to present her with opportunities to get involved and in turn recognize her for everything she does with points in VIP, Influitive’s advocate marketing program.

But then something really special started happening over the last few weeks. Liz, as well as a few other exceptional advocates (shout-outs to Quorum’s Kevin Lau, Brightpearl’s Maddie Sabbag and Okta’s Rebecca Haugan), decided to use the hard-earned points they’ve accumulated in VIP to donate to charitable causes.

Liz donated hundreds of thousands of her VIP points to a foundation that was created to help people living on the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona, which unfortunately is somewhat infamous for its historically dismal health, environmental and economic conditions. She used her points to buy basketballs, coloring books, toys and other goodies for the children in the community, where an estimated 60% of people live below the poverty line.

“One of the greatest influences a person can have in this world is to influence a child,” Liz says. “The Apache Tears Foundation was founded to help influence the lives of the children of the San Carlos Apache Tribe in Arizona.”

Here are a few photos of Liz’s efforts this holiday season:

Remember, Liz’s full-time job isn’t helping the less fortunate; she’s a marketer! “Advocating for Influitive is not about the recognition or perks,” Liz explains. “I do it because I LOVE this product and how it’s made marketing fun again!”

How amazing is she? We’re so lucky to have her as a customer, advocate and friend. If you are reading this, Liz, THANK YOU!

Stay tuned for more stories about our shining advocates! Happy holidays everyone!
