Best place for a special dinner out in the city

Kacie Shuster

Mamakas Taverna. They have fresh, authentic approach to Aegean food. Classical Greek dishes against a contemporary canvas with a yia-yia twist! You can either have a more relaxed meal sitting at the counter watching the chefs cook, or a more formal sit-down around the table.

Taka TranIf you’re on a budget, I recommend Sukho Thai on Wellington. The beef khao soi is to die for! The meat is tender and the broth is creamy. I wish I lived closer to it because I’d have it for dinner every week!

Sara KohanFahrenheit Coffee near Richmond is great for a quick coffee on the go. The service is incredible, they are always blasting Spanish music and the baristas are super energetic. Just a feel-good place with good coffee.
