Rolling Up The Red Carpet At Dreamforce ’14
As the curtains are being drawn and the red carpet is being rolled up, the Dreamforce VIP Experience has come to an end.
Complete with designer “Influi-Vuitton” bags, a velvet rope and flashing cameras all around, our Dreamforce booth welcomed VIPs to walk the red carpet and start advocating for their favorite companies!
A red carpet wouldn’t be complete without cameras and paparazzi to capture the glitz and the glamor, so our Influvians snagged some photographs of our VIPs posing and advocating for their favourite companies. Meet some of the stars who stopped by to walk the red carpet here and here. Don’t forget to tag yourself in our VIP photo album on Facebook!
Influitive’s Dreamforce VIP Experience: Online
While VIPs were receiving the star treatment at our booth, we were also engaging them in a unique online contest right within our own advocate marketing program, Influitive VIP. The Dreamforce VIP Experience was open to those attending Dreamforce, and even to those who couldn’t physically make it to San Francisco.
We had an overwhelmingly positive response from everyone who joined the Dreamforce VIP Experience! In total, 370 people participated in the contest and more than 130 of them were very actively engaged throughout the week.
Participants were presented with more than 70 activities that allowed them to experience Dreamforce in a whole new way from the Expo Hall floor, the session rooms or their office back home. Altogether, more than 1100 activities were completed throughout the week, including social sharing, inviting a friend, and even lip-syncing to their favorite Bruno Mars song!
Congratulations to Eric Lamy, Project Manager at Competitive Computing, for earning the most points in the Dreamforce VIP Experience and taking home the grand prize!
ICMI Senior Analyst Justin Robbins, who was also one of the top point earners in the competition, shared his thoughts with us about the Dreamforce VIP Experience:
“What got me excited was the variety of things I could do. It’s a really great way to keep people engaged. It’s neat to see what other people were doing and how they were engaging. It’s been a lot of fun and it has definitely made Dreamforce interesting. Without the VIP Experience, a normal conference experience is very transactional. There are a lot of people here, so it’s easy to get consumed in it all. This has kept me actively engaged in a dialogue the entire time that I’m here, so you don’t feel like you’re just one of a thousand; you feel like an individual who’s part of an entire experience.” -Justin Robbins, Senior Analyst at ICMI
