What is Beta Testing?

In beta testing , new versions of products or solutions are released to a select group of customer advocates to help identify bugs or faults. The input  from the beta testers is collected and used to make any needed fixes. Beta testing is also sometimes referred to a “pre-release testing.”

Why Is Beta Testing Important?

Beta testing a new product or solution is extremely important to ensure that a new product or version meets expectations. By using advocates as beta testers, you can ensure that the testers have the product knowledge needed to do a thorough job. Early feedback on the usability of your product is a valuable tool.
