What is Gamification?

Gamification uses game-like elements, such as friendly competition, points collection and rewards to encourage engagement with a product or services. The purpose is to drive player-like behavior, such as interaction, competition, collaboration, awareness and learning, in a non-game setting.

Why Is Gamification Important?

Gamification is a sure-fire way to increase and maintain advocate engagement. Offering a variety of rewards and recognitions is a winning approach to keeping advocates engaged and fueling your advocate marketing efforts. An advocate marketing program that relies too heavily on “stuff” cannot be sustained over the long haul.
